So for the 6th day of the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop, it is party games. When you get together do you play party games? What is your favorite party game?
Meet Your Hosts
They have all been busy as Elves creating, decorating, cooking and crafting tons of new ideas for you to try this holiday season!
Truth be told I haven’t played any party games in years. When I get together with friends we usually meet at a restaurant or go to an event. So I asked those same friends what suggestions they had.
One friend in the spirit of the season suggested Christmas Bingo. That isn’t too complicated and we all know how to play it. There are even bingo halls where people get together so I thought that was a good idea. I found a website that allows us to print out free bingo cards for Christmas bingo, Christmas Carol bingo and any other kind of bingo you are looking for.
My other friend brought over her games including one of my childhood favorites, Monopoly. Now that I really like. As a matter of fact, we got together because we were doing our annual event touring local homes decorated for Christmas. One particular homeowner has 8 Monopoly games. Some were vintage and others more recent but whichever one you play it is always fun.
Another friend said when she worked at a daycare they did a reindeer toss game with the children. You need a big mason jar and little reindeers. The kids would toss the reindeer in the jar. I got out my big Mason jar and reindeer napkin rings. We gave it a try and it is harder than it looks. Go ahead and try it.
My neighbor has a game night with friends once a month and another one goes to a local restaurant/bar to play a trivia game each week. She said the person who emcees it goes all over the county. So game playing is popular whether at home or at public places. I guess I had better get with the program and start playing games, not counting the ones on the computer. Tell me what is your favorite party game? Be sure to check out all of the fun games my friends wrote about, the links are below.
