When I was working at my full time job, we always enjoyed having “eat ins”. We didn’t need a special occasion to decide to do it. We liked coming together to enjoy good food and company. If I wasn’t bringing in “The Best Potato Casserole In The World” , I brought the brownie recipe everyone will love.
I was more famous for these then the hash brown casserole although the potato recipe is popular.
The official name in the cook book is Butterscotch Brownies but everyone who knows me calls them Deb P’s Blonde Brownies.
This recipe is one my Mom made for me when I was a little girl. She found it in her “Betty Crocker Picture Cook Book”. And when you make them they will become a hand me down recipe also.
As you may be able to tell the cookbook is well used and loved. I won’t even tell you how old the book is, but I suppose it can be considered vintage. And I will share a few more great recipes from it as time goes by.
I hope you will enjoy the brownie recipe everyone loves as much as my friends do. It is an easy recipe to make for any occasion or even if you feel like a treat for yourself. They will melt in your mouth.
