This recipe is the best potato casserole in the world. At least this is my opinion. And I think a few people who have eaten it would agree.
And what made me decide to share a recipe with you is when a former colleague sent me a text to ask for the recipe.
That is because it is so good and easy to make.
You can combine all the ingredients the night before and bake it in the morning before going to work or any other event.
It reheats well and freezes well.
This dish works with breakfast, brunch or dinner.
When I worked full time, I would bring it in to work when we did a breakfast eat in.
I always serve it when I have baked ham. It is good to serve as a side dish with pork or chicken.
Now I gave you the exact recipe but I am going to tell you what I did differently. Sometimes I use cream of celery soup, or another condensed soup. Whatever soup you use, it is the best potato casserole in the world.
Another thing I like doing is adding more than the 1 cup of crushed potato chips. I just crush and put on top and if it isn’t enough I add more.
