For the final day of the 12 Days of Christmas, we are showing you our Christmas Trees. And I love my Christmas Trees. My theory if one Christmas tree is Good Three is the Best.
Meet Your Hosts
They have all been busy as Elves creating, decorating, cooking and crafting tons of new ideas for you to try this holiday season!
As I mentioned when I told you how I decorated the front entryway I threw out the one I had for years. Now the tree I have is smaller but more manageable. It has most of the ornaments are on the tree. As I was getting the ornaments from the attic I decided to get the rest down another day. Well, I am still waiting for the day because the hinge broke when I put the steps up. Next year.
The big tree as I call it is in the great room. The ornaments that have been given to me, made or collected through the years are hanging from the branches. It certainly isn’t a beautiful designer decorated but the ornaments have sentimental value.
Now the next tree is the one I bought for all of the clay pots ornaments. My obsession with making ornaments from clay pots started with Santa and Mrs. Claus. I love making them and looking at them. As a matter of fact, I think I know what next years will be. Plus I have a list of ideas for the years I can’t come up with an idea. Each current year’s ornament is my favorite. Although to be truthful my least favorite is the palm tree. This year I made a cottage.
Then one year I decided to get a tree for the bedroom. This one is white, or it used to be. It has turned darker with age, so maybe next year I will paint it. We’ll see. This is as close to a designer tree as I will ever get. It is decorated with silver and white ornaments. Ribbon is draped around it and silver cord is wrapped around it. This year I added a touch of gold to the tree with the sparkly ornaments.
There are also little trees here and there around the house such as the one on the table when you come in. Or the tiny one in the sunroom. I don’t have any real trees but I have every other kind. So that is why I say if one Christmas tree is good three is the best.
