I have had these wicker chairs with the thought of pairing them with a little table but my plans changed. With the change of plans, I needed chairs and I was trying to figure what to do. In looking around the garage I saw these mismatched chairs, problem solved. Now being wicker chairs there was no way I was going to use a paint brush to give the chairs needed attention. And how to paint wicker the easy way is with the Home Right Paint Sprayer.
Shoppe No. 5 is a booth where I sell many of the items I show you on the blog. I am branching out and will be doing paint parties featuring Poppie’s Repurposing Paint Powder. So with that being said, I need to redesign my space and create a paint party area. I don’t know about you but when I paint I stand. But I decided I needed a place for people to sit in case they get tired.
The hardest thing about this project is figuring out the weather. I live in Florida and the rainy season is here. Meaning storms can pop up out of nowhere. It can rain on one side of the street and not the other.
Lucky for me there was no rain in the forecast and the weatherman got it right. The first thing I did was set up the Spray Shelter. If it weren’t for the shelter there is no way I would tackle spray painting. My house is on a small lot and I wouldn’t want to get paint and overspray over everything. I am a very sloppy painter, meaning I get paint all over me and my surroundings.
I used the same paint that I used when I painted the wicker furniture that is in my sunroom. It is a very clean and crisp white. I follow the instructions that come with the paint sprayer. It is very easy to use. And clean up is a breeze also.
As you can see from the before pictures the white chair is a dirty looking white and the other chair is a natural color. By painting the chairs white, or any color it unifies the two chairs in spite of them being different styles.
Now I have chairs so my guests can rest. It was so easy to make them look good. And I will admit I even painted a rack to hang from the ceiling of the booth for display. And also a wicker table that I will share with you soon. That’s not bad for a day’s work.
