I am not creating anything new with this project. Of course, it is one that keeps coming up time after time. It is a classic, actually. Eggs, how to create decoupage eggs.
Now, these eggs are smaller than the ones I did several years ago. They were huge compared to these eggs. I do enjoy having my eggs around when it is time for the Easter Holiday.
The first step is to paint the eggs with a matte white. You can use a different color if you like but I wanted my eggs to be fresh and clean looking.
The next step is to apply Mod Podge in sections. I applied it in an area and then put the cut piece of paper on the section. And repeated until it was completely covered. Then I had five more eggs to go, LOL.
As I covered the egg, I covered the outside of the paper as well as the inside of the paper. Did I say I have five more to do?
Eventually, I got the eggs done and you know what? They came out pretty good if I do say so myself. They are more subtle than the larger eggs. A different look. But I like how they look on the dining room table. They are more classical.
So, all in all, a very good job indeed. I am liking these little decorative eggs. It is the perfect touch for the dining room table. Don’t you agree?
