Have you ever heard of the blog, Thistlewood Farms written by KariAnne Wood? If you haven’t you really should read it. Or better yet pre-order her new book, “So Close To Amazing” from Amazon. You won’t regret it. I have the honor of being part of the launch team for this wonderful book. This book will show you how to be amazing every day.
KariAnne has always been a rock star in the blogging world, at least in my mind. It isn’t just her beautiful photography or excellent taste and gorgeous house. It is her beauty inside and out.
She gives you a glimpse into her life as she shows you the project she is writing about. And KariAnne weaves a life lesson into the story. The book includes projects by the way. She shows a vulnerability that we all experience in life…
And we who are her loyal followers feel a kinship with these stories. I know I experience self-doubt in my blogging journey. I think to myself I can be truly retired and read the other bloggers that I know and love. Why am I working so hard?
And then I will read KariAnne’s current post and think this is why. Even though she doesn’t know me she is letting me into her life and showing me how to be creative. And that is filling a need for me.
KariAnne has reached out and touched so many people from all over the world. She is your best friend, a sister or the nice neighbor. She is one of those people you want to spend time with.
Her book is filled with down to earth wisdom. It is the kind of book that once you start it you won’t be able to put it down. But you should to savor it and than reread it. Her wise words will give you food for thought. You will be grateful for what you have.
Her words are kind and that is so refreshing in the current world we are living in. Her family and the people around her are so important to her. She puts life in perspective. Yet I don’t know if KariAnne knows the impact she has on people.
And if you were to ask me what I think is special about her, I will tell you it is her ability to laugh at life and herself. I am not saying she doesn’t have self-doubts but she has a strong faith. And that is what makes her so special. And she makes each one of us feel special also. You realize no matter where you are in your life each phase is important and you should value the moment. As KariAnne would say,” I let all the busy go and I felt the burden being lifted off my shoulders”. Be amazing every day.
The book will be released on September 5, 2017, but you can pre-order the book by clicking on the link below.
